Heading North

Northern Australia is a beautiful and diverse region that offers a wide range of experiences for travellers. If you're planning to visit the region in a caravan, there are a few things you should keep in mind to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip.

Being prepared

  • The environment is very unique and conditions can be harsh, so it’s best to have a game plan before you head off.
  • First and foremost, it's important to be prepared for the climate and environment in northern Australia. This region can be hot and humid, with temperatures reaching upwards of 40°C (104°F) in the summer months. Make sure to bring plenty of water and sunscreen, and try to stay in the shade as much as possible to avoid heat stroke.
