- Bleeding: If your pet is bleeding, apply pressure to the wound with a clean cloth or bandage. Elevate the affected limb if possible. Seek veterinary attention immediately.
- Choking: If your pet is choking, try to remove the object by gently pulling on the tongue. Do not use your fingers to remove the object as you may push it further down the throat. If unsuccessful, seek veterinary attention immediately.
- Poisoning: If you suspect your pet has been poisoned, contact your veterinarian immediately. Do not induce vomiting unless directed by a veterinarian.
- Burns: For minor burns, run cool water over the affected area. For severe burns, cover the area with a clean, damp cloth and seek veterinary attention immediately.
- Fractures: If you suspect your pet has a fracture, do not attempt to splint or reset the bone. Keep your pet still and seek veterinary attention immediately.
