Step back in time to the gold rush days in Gulgong at the Henry Lawson Heritage Festival. There will be old time games such as jacks, hopscotch, pavement art, market stalls, a parade through the streets, the cutting of Henry Lawson's birthday cake, bush dancing, poetry and short story readings and the literary awards where poets and storytellers come from all over Australia with the hope of winning the coveted award.
