Julia Creek Dirt n Dust Festival is an epic jam-packed three days of fun and entertainment in Queensland Australia. Experience the incredible outback hospitality when the tiny North West Queensland outback town of Julia Creek explodes from 400 people to 3,000 in one weekend!
The Festival kick starts with the adrenaline-pumping action of the Dirt n Dust Rodeo and live concert. Take part in the DnD Adventure Run for the wildest outback course you’ll ever run which will have you laughing to the finish line and place your bets on the Artesian Express Outback Horse Races.
Each night at Dirt n Dust Cental experience where bronc and bull riders take to the arena in non-stop rodeo action and then try your luck at winning Australia’s Best Butt competition! You’ll then dance the night away under the stars with live outdoor concerts.

Located at McIntyre Park, next to the Julia Creek Turf Club, Dirt n Dust has a limited number of powered sites available. Walking distance to the Dirt n Dust Festival venue.

JULIA CREEK CARAVAN PARK
During the Dirt n Dust Festival, the Julia Creek Caravan Park has a number of self-sustained, powered and non-powered camping sites for festival-goers.

CREEKSIDE FREE CAMPING
Free RV Camping is available along side the creek in Julia Creek.
There are no amenities available so this is best suited to self-servicing RV’s only.
CAMPING WITH PETS
Animals are not permitted on the Festival Camping in McIntyre Park Campgrounds. If you have fur babies travelling with you, you cancontact the Julia Creek Caravan Park or camp at the Free RV site on the Creek providing you are fully self-servicing as there are no public amenities at this site.
